What is a CFI?

Certified Flight Instruction (Airplane)

A person who holds a flight instructor certificate (called a "certificated flight instructor" or CFI) is authorized to give training and endorsements required for and relating to Student Private, Commercial and other Pilot Certificates.  Our CFI teaches at Beaver Valley Aviation at I73 and The Flying Neutrons at I68.  Also available for contract services at a rate of $40/hour.

What is a CFII?

Certified Flight Instruction - Instrument (Airplane)

A person who holds a flight instructor certificate - instrument (called a "certificated flight instructor for instrument" or CFII) is authorized to give training and endorsements required for and relating to flying in instrument meteorological conditions.  In other-words, flying in the clouds.  Our CFII teaches at Beaver Valley Aviation at I73 and The Flying Neutrons at I68.  Also available for contract services at a rate of $50/hour.

What is a MEI?

Certified Flight Instruction - Multi-Engine (Airplane)

The MEI is your Multi-Engine Instructor allows the holder to train students in MULTIENGINE aircraft.  Our MEI instructs in Dayton at Beaver Valley Aviation and is available for contract services at a rate of $60/hour.
